The unexpected fog warning in Nanjing makes me suddenly realize that severe haze is just around me instead of a thing in news report or the one only happen in Beijing. Therefore, I make this information design, which objectively illustrates the situation around us with data map. I process texture of rectangle representing data with bitmap, which makes it look like particulate matters, and I printed on sulfuric acid paper by means of silk screen printing to imply the haze by the translucent texture of sulfuric acid paper. The information graph poster shows the change of haze within a day, the brochure explains regional variation and the device illustrates several main elements of haze and displays their influence to people. Projection is also fuzzily processed intentionally in shooting process at last to reflect the
influence of haze through the shadow projected onto white wall.
